King Charles has reportedly offered a major olive branch to his estranged son, Prince Harry, for his next visit to the UK, which the duke is tipped to accept, it has been claimed. It comes just days after the Duke of Sussex’s return to the UK for a five-day trip.
But what do YOU think? Should King Charles really let Prince Harry stay at Buckingham Palace? Vote in our poll and comment in the comment section below.
Harry’s recent trip to the UK included a private meeting with his father at Highgrove House with his family.
Meghan Markle, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet made the under-the-radar trip to Gloucester for the family affair after spending time on holiday around Europe.
It was the first time Archie and Lilibet saw their grandfather in four years.
Royal author Robert Jobson claimed that the latest olive branch by the King shows the relationship with the Sussexes is “improving”.
He told The Sun: “Obviously there does appear to be a sense that it’s a gradual process and things are improving.”
Meanwhile, royal commentator Ingrid Seward said: “Harry realises it is a very generous offer by his father and needs to respect that this time and be gracious about it.
“This is a chance perhaps for Harry to show his father he knows how to behave.”
