Show Me The Body have released a new single titled “Dance in the USA” along with a Jake Moore-directed official music video.
The track lands as the New York City hardcore outfit continue to tease their fourth studio album, which will serve as the follow-up to 2022’s Trouble The Water. “Dance In The USA” was produced by Klas Åhlund and Kenneth Blume III after the two were introduced by the band during sessions last year at Blume’s Putnam Hill studio in Southern California.
Pratt shared the following:
Dance In The USA’ is about how we implore style to survive in this reality. It’s how we embrace the struggle of ourselves, our family’s, and those around you. It’s the dance that we all do – how we hustle, the good and the bad things we do – just to get through it.
Additionally, Show Me The Body’s Julian Cashwan Pratt launched a new interview series dubbed “Alone Together.” Directed by Nicolas Heller, the series features conversations with “a few of my best friends, creative peers, and mentors” touching on life, loss, family, community, art and praxis. Episodes 1 and 2 — featuring Dracula O./Chi and Kasie Kirkland (aka Yung Mayne).
The band will be touring the West Coast next month around their appearance at Kilby Block Party, hitting eight cities with support from Provoker, Ingrown, Clique and Dry Socket.
