“The Walking Dead” and “Invincible” rights holder Skybound Entertainment has hired Jam City’s Kristina Cole as senior vice president of global communications and corporate brand.
In this newly created executive role at the Robert Kirkman and David Alpert-founded company, Cole will lead the company’s global communications strategy, positioning, and brand narrative across Skybound’s comics, games, television, film, audio and collectibles divisions. Cole will also oversee corporate communications, licensing and investor relations. She will report directly to Skybound Entertainment CEO Alpert.
Best known as the media company behind “The Walking Dead,” “Invincible” (which was just renewed for Season 5 at Amazon), “Impact Winter” and “Stillwater,” Skybound recently made headlines with the launch of its first in-house game development studio, Quarter Up, and plans to release tag fighting game “Invincible VS” in 2026.
Cole joins Skybound from mobile gaming company Jam City, where she led corporate brand visibility and communications across a portfolio of original mobile games and IP partnerships. Prior to that, Cole ran communications at Dollar Shave Club. Previously, she held senior PR and brand strategy roles at Comcast/NBCUniversal’s gaming television network G4 network, Ovation TV, and at top PR agencies representing Red Bull, Bandai and more.
