- Rumours began to circulate, if not for the first time, that Stacey and Joe’s marriage might be in trouble after the former X Factor star was seen recently without her wedding ring on. Eagle-eyed fans spotted it was missing in some of her Instagram stories. Stacey did little to quell the rumours by posting a sweet family picture on Mother’s Day – but without Joe, and again without her ring.
- Stacey addressed the dogged split rumours during an appearance on This Morning earlier this month, saying, “There’s a new rumour each week. I’m terrible. I don’t read any of that stuff.” She added: “Have I not been wearing my ring? I probably took it off to go to the toilet or something, I don’t know.”
- Joe set tongues wagging on 23 March when he took to Instagram to inform his followers that he had changed his profile picture to a selfie with his son, Rex – and no Stacey. Sharing this update on his Insta story, Joe wrote: “New profile photo” with a black love heart emoji.
- Joe and Stacey first met while filming ITV’s I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! in 2010, which saw Stacey be crowned Queen of the Jungle. The former X Factor star, who has older sons, Zachary, 18, and Leighton, 13, from previous relationships, go on to take home the Queen of the Jungle crown. Stacey and Joe began dating in 2016 before tying the knot in a fairytale ceremony at their country home Pickle Cottage in 2022.
- One of Britain’s favourite celebrity couples had fans concerned that there may be issues between them when they seemed to have a ‘row’ in the street while filming their hit fly-on-the-wall show in 2024. Stacey was spotted in tears, and subsequently jetted off on what she called a ‘much needed’ girl’s trip to Las Vegas, telling fans that she was feeling ‘supported’ by her pals, after reports of the argument with former EastEnders star Joe.
