“Stranger Things” executive producer Curtis Gwinn has found his rightside up. The scribe has sealed a multi-year overall deal with Sony Pictures Television, where he will write and produce scripted fare for the studio.
The news was announced Thursday by Sony. Andrew Plotkin, the exec VP of drama development at Sony Pictures Television, called Gwinn “a valuable addition to the Spt family… Coming off his work on Stranger Things, he brings a deep background in genre work combined with compelling characters — a perfect complement to Sony’s approach to storytelling. We couldn’t be more excited to be working with Curtis.
