PRICHARD, Ala. (WALA) – All scheduled entertainment performances and the Christmas Extravaganza Movie Night planned for Sunday, Dec. 14, at the Old Historic Whistler Bike Trail have been canceled due to the forecast of extreme cold weather, officials announced.
Temperatures are expected to drop to levels that would make outdoor performances and the planned movie screening unsafe and uncomfortable for attendees, performer, and event staff, officials said.
Although the entertainment area and movie night featuring “Home Alone” will not take place, the Whistler Wonderland Christmas light trail will remain open for visitors who would still like to walk through and enjoy the festive displays, officials said.
