“Lords of War,” Andrew Niccol’s sequel to his 2005 crime thriller “Lord of War,” is set to start shooting later this month in Belgium and Morocco, Variety can reveal.
Sylvia Hoeks and Greg Tarzan Davis have also joined the cast of the film, and will star alongside Cage, Bill Skarsgård and Laura Harrier.
FilmNation Entertainment is representing the international rights and CAA Media Finance the domestic rights, with sales continuing at AFM. Philippe Rousselet and Fabrice Gianfermi (“Coda”), who produced the original, are producing under their Vendôme Pictures banner alongside Cage under his company, Saturn Films. Skarsgård is executive producing.
