The Lake Tahoe celebrity golf tournament is a month out, and several newcomers will be making their debuts at the tournament this summer.
But there’s at least one notable person missing off the entry list.
Travis Kelce, who has played in the past seven American Century Championship celebrity golf tournaments at Edgewood Tahoe, is getting married to Taylor Swift on July 3 in New York City.
The ACC tournament is scheduled for July 8-12 at Edgewood Tahoe.
Several online sources report that Swift and Kelce will go on a three-week honeymoon before Kelce reports to his final training camp with the Kansas City Chiefs in late July.
Aaron Rodgers is also missing from the entry list, as of June 1. The Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback has played in the past 21 straight ACC tournaments. He is also preparing for his final season in the NFL.
Among the newcomers to the ACC this year are Robert Saleh, the Tennessee Titans coach and former San Francisco 49ers assistant coach; and Mike MacDonald, the Seattle Seahawks coach. New England Patriots quarterback Drake May is making his ACC debut in July, as is Minnesota Vikings coach Kevin O’Connell.
More newcomers include: Kyle Hamilton, Baltimore Ravens safety; Sean McDonough, ABC/ESPN announcer; Payton Pritchard, Boston Celtics guard; Doc Rivers, NBA coach; Brady Tkachuk, NHL forward; and Brett Young, country music star.
Joe Pavelski is the defending champion.
