The Gasparilla Music Festival has officially announced the music schedule for its highly anticipated 2026 festival, taking place April 10–12 in downtown Tampa at its brand-new location, Meridian Fields. Presented by Water Street Tampa, the three-day festival will feature more than 40 bands performing across multiple stages, bringing a diverse mix of indie rock, hip-hop, electronic, Americana, and funk to the heart of the city.
Festival gates will open at 3 p.m. each day, and tickets are currently available at gmftickets.com.
Big Headliners and Diverse Lineup
The 2026 lineup is stacked with national touring acts, emerging artists, and beloved local performers.
Friday night will feature indie rock favorites Mt. Joy as headliners. They’ll be joined by an exciting lineup including Shakey Graves, GZA & the Phunky Nomads, lovelytheband, and Tampa hip-hop legend Tom G.
Saturday shifts the energy toward electronic and pop with headliners Two Friends. Fans can expect a high-energy night with performances from Jai Wolf, Bryce Vine, Kasbo, and Forester.
Sunday’s closing night will be led by southern jam band icons Gov’t Mule, wrapping up the festival alongside standout acts including Drive-By Truckers, Cuban funk sensation Cimafunk, rising country star Kaitlin Butts, Texas soul favorites The Suffers, and bluegrass innovators East Nash Grass.
“We are really excited for what we have in store this year. We think Tampa is going to be blown away not only by the incredible musicians but also by this amazing venue right in the heart of the city.”
— David Cox, Executive Director of the Gasparilla Music Foundation
A New Home at Meridian Fields
One of the biggest changes for 2026 is the festival’s move to Meridian Fields, a new 11.5-acre festival site located at 101 S. Meridian Avenue, just north of the Water Street Tampa district.
The new location places the festival squarely in the center of downtown Tampa’s rapidly expanding entertainment corridor. In addition to the main festival grounds, organizers will also feature live music and a free stage within the Water Street Tampa district, giving locals and visitors even more ways to experience the event.
Organizers expect nearly 10,000 attendees per day, continuing the festival’s strong growth and reputation as one of Tampa Bay’s premier live-music events.
More Announcements Still to Come
Festival organizers say additional details are still on the way, including:
- The official festival food lineup, expected to feature top Tampa Bay restaurants and food vendors
- The return of the popular GMF Kids Fest, offering free family-friendly activities
- New interactive festival activations and experiences throughout the grounds
The complete daily performance schedule and set times can be found on the festival website and mobile app.

A Tampa Festival Tradition
Founded in 2012, the Gasparilla Music Festival is now celebrating its 14th edition. Produced by the nonprofit Gasparilla Music Foundation, the festival has grown into one of Tampa Bay’s signature cultural events during the city’s broader Gasparilla season.
Over the years, the festival has hosted an impressive list of artists including Brandi Carlile, The Avett Brothers, Nas, Cage the Elephant, Louis the Child, The Roots, Billy Strings, and many more.
Beyond the music, the Gasparilla Music Foundation works year-round to support the local music community by providing instruments to Title I schools and helping Tampa Bay musicians develop their careers.
The independent, volunteer-driven event has also been voted Tampa Bay’s #1 festival every year since its launch, a testament to its strong community support and eclectic musical programming.
