Taylor Swift has starred in some high-profile movies in recent years — and wants to clear the air on whether that includes Adam Sandler‘s latest comedy.
This week, the global pop star, 35, joined the New Heights podcast — hosted by her boyfriend Travis Kelce and his brother Jason Kelce — and opened up about a new number of topics, including viral rumors regarding her connection to Travis’ recent movie appearance.
In Happy Gilmore 2, Sandler’s sequel to his classic from 1996, Kelce, 35, plays a waiter who becomes doused in honey. Those who have seen the film will recall that the NFL star ultimately gets attacked by a bear — but who’s the performer inside the costume?
Swift officially denied it wasn’t her, as TMZ reported, when speaking with the Kelce brothers Wednesday night, but commended the stuntman for an “exquisite performance.”
The billionaire singer-songwriter also praised the comedic timing of Kelce’s co-star Bad Bunny — whose character is responsible for covering the Kansas City Chiefs tight end with honey in Happy Gilmore 2, now streaming on Netflix.
Sandler’s golf sequel features plenty of other celebrity cameos, including Kid Cudi, Nick Swardson, Eminem, Post Malone and Margaret Qualley. Longtime actors Julie Bowen, Christopher McDonald and Ben Stiller reprise their roles from the original movie.
Also in the new podcast episode, Swift details how she couldn’t believe the way in which Travis and Jason, 37, behaved when meeting Prince William during the London leg of her Eras Tour. She recounted the 2024 viral backstage moment at Wembley Stadium, when William, 43, arrived with Princess Charlotte and Prince George. The Kelce brothers jumped on the opportunity to meet the royal family during the intimate visit.
On Tuesday, Aug. 12, at 12:12 a.m., Swift announced her 12th studio album, officially titled The Life of a Showgirl. The announcement came after intense online speculation, as the countdown first appeared on her website on the evening of Monday, Aug. 11.
