Taylor Swift walked down the aisle to one of her own hit songs.
The wedding also included party favors with “Blank Space” lyrics embroidered, Travis Kelce’s personal favorite Swift tune.
The reception also boasted performances from Paul McCartney and Stevie Nicks.
Taylor Swift certainly is not lacking for potential love songs to walk down the aisle to. It was previously reported that she used one of her own hits to underscore her nuptials to Travis Kelce, but which song the couple chose was veiled from public knowledge.
Could it have been “You Belong With Me,” “Enchanted,” “Sparks Fly,” “This Love,” “Eternity Ring?” Truly, the possibilities were endless when diving into one of the richest catalogs of any modern artist.
Now, we know. And it feels like it was the most obvious choice all along — why didn’t we guess it?
“Love Story.” But of course! According to US Weekly, a string quartet version of the song was used for Swift’s walk down the aisle. “Love Story” was one of her earliest hits, released in 2008 as a single from the album Fearless, contains lyrics befitting of a wedding ceremony, including “You’ll never have to be alone, I love you and that’s all I really know.” And of course, “It’s a love story, baby, just say, ‘Yes.’”
The song hit No. 1 on the Billboard country chart and crossed over to the Hot 100, notching at No. 4.

Swift was hesitant in December to name a favorite track from her discography, telling Stephen Colbert when he asked for her top five songs, “Oh my god, okay. This is so much pressure … So I think I’m gonna say that I’m gonna need a little time to get back to you on all the five.”
Later on in the interview she said “All Too Well” from the album Red was her personal favorite of her tunes —specifically the 2021 10-minute version from Taylor’s Version of the album.
When pressured to reveal more of her favorite songs, Swift could only name a couple. “I can’t really do any of the others. Except I will say somewhere in this list I think is gonna be a song called ‘Mirrorball’ from the Folklore album … It came on the other day. A friend sent it to me and she was talking about it and I put it on and I was just like ‘Mmm.’ And then you ask me this question and so I said it.”

Her now-husband Kelce has been more decisive in choosing his top Swift track, disclosing his favorite on the podcast Bussin’ With the Boys in 2024.
“I really started listening to Taylor’s music when she came out with 1989,” he said. “I knew who she was before that — we were the same age, so through high school and everything, I knew who Taylor was as she was getting her career started — but I think 1989 was where it really started [to] go crazy. So I’m going to say ‘Blank Space,’ because that was like the first.”
Kelce also discussed the song on his and his brother Jason Kelce’s podcast, New Heights. “I mean ‘Blank Space’ is a song that I’ll always listen to forever … It’s just unbelievable, everything about it.” He also said he has an affection for the tune “Death by a Thousand Cuts,” saying it’s one he’s “learned to absolutely love.”
Meanwhile, a lyric from “Blank Space” made its way onto a wedding handkerchief party favor given to guests, as revealed by Maren Morris in an Instagram post. In addition to the wedding’s interlocking Ts logo, the date of the ceremony, New York City, and the lyric “So it’s gonna be forever…” were embroidered.
The wedding reception also included a few major performances from music legends, including Stevie Nicks and Paul McCartney, who sang the classic “I Want to Hold Your Hand” live for the first time since 1964.
