Taylor Swift made her podcast debut on a recent episode of the “New Heights” with Jason and Travis Kelce. The conversation touched on her career achievements, learning about football with a quick mention of Jared Goff.
Early in the podcast, Taylor Swift, award-winning singer, songwriter, and her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, Super Bowl champion and tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, discussed the beginnings of their relationship including how little Swift knew about football despite dating a pro footballer.
“…You’re so non-judgemental about people and you were not judgemental about the fact that I knew nothing about the world you were in,” Swift said.
To prove her point, Swift admitted she didn’t know what the postions meant or even how the teams played against each other.
“I thought everyone was out there at the same time,” Swift said. “I thought it was like Jared Goff is here and Josh Allen’s here…” Swift continued.
“I would love to see Jared Goff play some defense,” Jason Kelce jokingly replied.
From little to no prior knowledge of football, Swift said in a frank manner that she has become obsessed with the sport, of which Travis is thankful for.
The podcast episode, released on Aug. 13, ran for two hours with talks of Swift reclaiming her music, Eras Tour highlights and highly anticipated new album “The Life of a Showgirl,” revealing the album cover, the titles of the 12 tracks — including a feature with Sabrina Carpenter — and the creative efforts behind it all.
