Taylor Swift has officially announced the streaming release date and platform for her highly anticipated Eras Tour docuseries, The End of an Era. It is a six-part project, which promises an unprecedented behind-the-scenes look at her recent global tour.

Taylor Swift announced that The End of an Era, a six-part documentary about The Eras Tour, will debut on Disney+ on December 12, 2025.
The series will give viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the tour, which ran from March 2023 to December 2024, spanning 149 shows across the globe and earning over $2 billion in ticket sales.
Alongside the docuseries, Swift also announced a new concert film titled The Eras Tour | The Final Show, filmed during the tour’s last stop in Vancouver. The film will feature the full Tortured Poets Department set, making it its first appearance on screen since the songs were added to the live setlist.
“It was the end of an era and we knew it,” Swift wrote on Instagram. “We wanted to remember every moment leading up to the culmination of the most important and intense chapter of our lives,” she added.
The End of an Era docuseries could include appearances from artists Gracie Abrams, Sabrina Carpenter, Ed Sheeran, and Florence Welch, along with family and close collaborators. The episodes will explore both the production and emotional journey behind one of the highest-grossing tours in music history.
Disney+ will release the first two episodes of The End of an Era on December 12, followed by two episodes each week for the next two weeks, completing the six-part series. A short teaser trailer has been released, offering glimpses of rehearsal footage and candid behind-the-scenes moments from the tour.
The announcement follows the success of Swift’s latest album, The Life of a Showgirl, which was released on October 3 and set new sales records, including surpassing Adele’s 25 for first-week numbers.
