Gore, an eight-year MLB veteran, appeared in 112 regular season contests, making his mark as a pinch runner during stints with five sides. Gore drew plaudits for his speed on the base paths, collecting 43 steals in his career.
His game translated to postseason play, too. He tallied five steals and three runs (to just two plate appearances) in 11 career playoff games.
