The Cardi B and Nicki Minaj beef heats up with new and nastier posts

Cardi B is living up to the name of her sophomore album, Am I The Drama?, in a new online spat with Nicki Minaj.

Since Monday, the two artists have been embroiled in a heated online exchange that’s resulted in increasingly nasty posts — seemingly with no end in sight.

On Tuesday, Minaj reignited the flames with a long text post uploaded to X, claiming that she’d never seen a fertility doctor despite comments from Cardi B, whom she continues to refer to as Barney B.

“Barney B, I know you don’t know this, but SOME women PLAN their pregnancies you dirty HEINEKEN pussy twat. We don’t let n****z fuk us while we pregnant for the next trade who got 4 other ppl pregnant. You see?” Minaj wrote. “The devil has come to collect. You sold your soul. You made a pact. But you lost. Now hear this: you have been neutralized in the mighty name of Jesus. Every word you speak on Me or mine will now curse your enablers more than your dizzy brain could ever fathom.”

Minaj went on to write, “I was pregnant for my first love. Got married& the next year got pregnant for my soul mate. On purpose. You see Barney? We planned it. Your medical records in the strip club to now look embarrassing & your father… welp…anyway. You are about to shrivel up & die inside. You called black women monkeys & roaches. Now one day ppl will call your daughters monkeys & roaches. Anyway, I used double the protection in every relationship until I was READY. See? The difference between a HOE & the QUEEN.”

The Trinidadian-born rapper then uploaded a since-deleted post, telling Cardi B that people who face fertility struggles should not be made the butt of a joke. “Until you know the women who are actually living that pain, blaming themselves—we could only imagine & pray for them, love them, uplift them. Not use these women as a punch line,” Minaj wrote in the post, seeming to refer to her experience with abortion, which she’s spoken openly about in the past.

Cardi then responded on X with, “Girl it’s YOUR SON BIRTHDAY why are you on twitter dedicating essays to me??? For the love of god go to chuckie cheese,” and multiple other posts.

One of her responses referenced a skirmish between the rappers at the 2018 Harper’s Bazaar Icons party that left Cardi B with a welt on her forehead. “When have I ever had a seizure?? You the one that went on that award show saying you ain’t want to call 911 after you was shakin from that drug over dose.. talkin bout a knot miss IM STANDING RIGHT HERE,” Cardi B wrote, attaching a photo of the incident.

The Bronx rapper continued in a separate X post. “Like damn how you pressed over an album you ain’t got hit in or mentioned in,” she said, referring to Am I The Drama?. “Bitch feelings hurt cause I ain’t paid her no attention!! You haven’t even cut your fuckin kid cake.. my god it’s 6 o clock in LA. You must’ve took your first line of the day.”

Cardi B has shown in the past that she won’t tolerate people speaking ill of her children, so it’s no surprise that things continued to heat up when Minaj uploaded a post calling Cardi’s daughter, Kulture, ugly.

“And let me tell you somethin.. let this be the LAST TIME you mention my kids before I spill the tea on yours while you talkin about ABC’s!! You gon leave me TF alone today ho I’m sick of you bitch!!” Cardi B wrote in an X post not long after Minaj’s.

The “Up” rapper then went after Minaj’s family. “Wait bring that ass here.. you talkin about my father???.. my father never been to jail a day in his life! Go get a detective and tell them to run them records.. don’t put them dirty ass allegations from your bloodline on mine,” Cardi B wrote on X. “Your daddy was a crackhead and your brother was raping his stepchild. You got medical records on me??? Post them bitch!!! You gon leave me TF alone today.”

Minaj taunted her fellow rapper with a few more posts, referring to Cardi B’s daughters as “roach” and “monkey” on multiple occasions. “Barney dangerous ??? Bodega Barney? WHADDDDUP. Your sister can get that chest caved in if u pregnant with another monkey or roach RIGHT NOW. Ijs. For entertainment purposes only,” she wrote in one.

Cardi then shot back a reply reading, “Bitch you wish you could call my daughter ugly.. Kulture is beautiful and you know that. Your hate is so deep dark and nasty because your son nonverbal cuz you fucked him up wit them drugs so you jealous of everybody kids and their happiness!!! BITCH WHERE TF YOU AT STOP TALKING.”

As of Wednesday afternoon, the acclaimed rappers were still trading jabs at one another, with Minaj continuing to refer to Cardi B’s daughter as “Kulture Vulture” and compare the girl and her sister to monkeys, and Cardi B using a slew of insults to accuse Minaj of being jealous of her and her children.

But after swapping unpleasantries throughout the day, Cardi B hinted that she might finally be putting the matter to rest in a long post that touched on Minaj’s parents and husband and also accused her of having a drug problem.

“This my last time responding to you because this past Twitter now.. I gotta see you… but first ima tell you truth..” Cardi B wrote at the beginning of the post, before moving on to a discussion of Minaj’s background and alleged drug use. “YOU NEED TO GET HELP!! You need to heal that trauma.. you always coming at people everytime you see them happy because you got so much trauma and pain that you wanna put on others.. your fans are gonna gas you up while you literally lose your god damn mind…. You don’t have no friends.. no family.. just that man in your house that let you do drugs til you pass out so he can spend your money and buy the hood chains.”
