Season 3 of HBO’s beloved mockumentary sitcom “The Comeback” premieres March 22 on HBO after first debuting at the SXSW Film & TV Festival. The trailer, which debuted online Thursday, also announces this season as the last.
Season 3 finds Kudrow’s character starring in a new sitcom, and again making a documentary about her life on and off the set, with a writers’ room featuring John Early, Abbi Jacobson, and, yep, AI … since this is “The Comeback” in 2026 after all. As part of her promotion for a new series called “How’s That?,” she also makes an appearance on “Hot Ones” (a must-stop for any self-deprecating and humility-chasing celebrity these days) as the trailer indicates. Plot details are otherwise scarce for the new season… and we can’t wait to see that.
