BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Civic Dance Center is set to bring “The Nutcracker,” to the Dignity Health Arena, Theater & Convention Center for four shows.
The shows are set for Dec. 12 at 7:30 p.m., Dec. 13 at 1 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., and Dec. 14 at 1 p.m., according to organizers.
The 48th annual production of the classic will feature a live orchestra and a cast of almost 180 Kern County multigenerational dancers.
Organizers said audience members will be transported to a world full of dancing snowflakes, dancing mice and the Sugar Plum Fairy.
