An annual tradition, “The Sound of Music,” a 1965 movie musical, will be broadcast Dec. 21, 2025, on live television as part of the Wonderful World of Disney’s Sunday TV lineup, an ABC press release said.
“Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer star in the heartwarming film that features fan-favorite songs, including “Edelweiss,” “My Favorite Things,” “Do-Re-Mi,” “Sixteen Going on Seventeen” and “The Sound of Music,”” the press release said.
