When Jeremiah ends up changing the wedding location, and he and Taylor can’t make it to help Belly out with wedding duties, Conrad steps up. Conrad and Belly spend the day together and he has flashbacks of his time with Belly as kids and in later years.
Now in Episode 6, Belly and Jeremiah go apartment hunting. Later, Belly begins to have second thoughts about the wedding.

In “The Summer I Turned Pretty” trilogy, the third book, “We’ll Always Have Summer,” ends with Conrad confessing his long-hidden love for Belly right before her wedding to Jeremiah.
When Jeremiah finds out about the confession, he goes missing. Conrad also says goodbye to Belly and returns the infinity necklace to her.
The epilogue reveals that Conrad has waited two years before sending Belly a handwritten letter. They start to come “each and every month” through her college years. He shows up for her graduation and they rekindle.
He proposes to her two years later and the two marry, starting a new life together.
