The team behind the festivites have been previewing what is to come
Three ‘amazing’ outdoor music shows are coming to Leeds this summer.
As we’ve previously reported, the Roundhay Festival will debut in Leeds in July. The festivities will welcome headline acts Lewis Capaldi and Pitbull. While, the team from American Express presents Roundhay Festival have announced a classical music experience, All Things Orchestral, as part of the schedule.
American Express presents Roundhay Festival will run between Friday, July 3 and Sunday, July 5. You can find out more and buy tickets here.
Ahead of the debut event, we are bringing you everything you need to know about the 2026 Roundhay Festival.
Jim King, chief executive officer of European Festivals at AEG Presents, who is bringing the event to Leeds, said: “We have three amazing shows which we’ve got this year. It is starting off with Pitbull, featuring Jason Derulo and Tinie Tempah.

“It is going to be a wonderful show. For those who have not seen Pitbull it is an amazing night out – I say that as someone who has seen the concert twice. It really is great fun.
“Lewis Capaldi has had this phenomenal success. It is great to see him back playing live as well. It is a really great success story to have him play the inaugural year.”
The team have recently announced the addition of All Things Orchestral to close the first edition of the Roundhay Festival. Mr King said: “The Halle Orchestra (who will be performing) is a great northern tradition. It is really important that we show the breadth of music that we have across Roundhay and where we want that to grow in future years.
“We work very closely with Myleene Klass (who will be appearing in Leeds) in Hyde Park, in London, and it is a huge success for us to see young people with families come embrace classical music. Unfortunately, not many kids are picking up instruments in schools anymore, it is a great shame, so, to see them coming engaged and see instrumentation and play actually playing that breadth of instruments, in this kind of format, is hugely important.
“It is a great gateway for all the genres of music young people may embrace at other points as they grow older. We are very excited about that. We are pleased to announce that Alfie Boe, another great northern tenor is going to be coming and playing at this event. An international-renowned artist and a truly great singer.”
We’ll bring you more about the debut Roundhay Festival in the coming weeks.
