Tiffany Trump ditched the White House this Thanksgiving, spending time with her mother instead.
As President Donald Trump, 79, presumably spent the holiday with First Lady Melania, 55, Tiffany was surrounded with love elsewhere. Her mother, Marla Maples, 62, who split from Donald in 1999, posted sweet photos of her family together for dinner. The pictures include Tiffany and her baby son.
In an Instagram caption, she wrote, “Our first Thanksgiving with sweet Alexander… Gathered with my beautiful daughter, family and dear friends, I felt a kind of joy I could have never imagined. My heart is overflowing with gratitude and love. May each of you feel a love that soothes your heart and radiates out into the world.”
Tiffany also shared some photos on her Instagram story. “Thanksgiving with the little guy,” she wrote, posing next to her husband, Michael Boulos, 28.
The family bonding choice came after her father’s recent comments sparked confusion. He brought up his daughter’s educational history and even made some bizarre claims about how the university handled her schooling.
“She was a great student. She went to Georgetown. She was a great, great student and she finished really right at the top and we were proud of you,” he said to the crowd during the US-Saudi Investment Forum at the Kennedy Center, which Tiffany attended.
It’s true that Tiffany attended Georgetown after her undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania. She wrapped up her masters in May 2020, which was in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, her graduation was cancelled out of concern for the spread of the disease. Donald, though, had his own theory about why they cancelled the event.
“Her graduation got canceled because of COVID, but I say if her name was something else, they probably wouldn’t have canceled it,” he claimed.

“They didn’t like that she did so well at school. They weren’t happy about it,” he added. “I say they canceled your graduation because you were a great student and they didn’t want, but other than that, I have no problems. You see, I don’t take anything personally.”
Tiffany didn’t respond to the claims made by her father.
