Target is launching the cutest tiny record player for music fans
Tiny Vinyl records already had the cuteness factor and the collectible factor. Now, they have their own tiny turntable to match.
Target’s exclusive Tiny Vinyl collection is expanding its miniature music universe with a new Tiny Vinyl Player, Crate and 2×2 Frame, available exclusively at Target stores and online starting on Thursday, July 16. The launch follows the success of the brand’s 4-inch playable records and gives collectors a dedicated way to spin, store and display their mini music finds.
“Our fans asked for tiny accessories and we listened. We are excited to offer a custom player, crate and frame for our fans to enjoy,” says Tiny Vinyl co-founder Neil Kohler.
Tiny Vinyl describes its format as a pocket-sized collectible that still functions as a playable record. Each Tiny Vinyl measures 4 inches and can hold up to four minutes of audio per side, making it part music format, part fan collectible.
Do you need the Tiny Vinyl Player to play Tiny Vinyl records?
No. Tiny Vinyl says you do not need the miniature player to play its records. Tiny Vinyl records are designed to play at 33 RPM on standard manual turntables, though shoppers should make sure their turntable’s tonearm can reach close enough to the center spindle.
The brand lists a few examples of turntables that work with Tiny Vinyl, including Tiny Vinyl’s official turntable, the Victrola Eastwood II, Fluance RT80, Victrola Wave and Audio-Technica AT-LP120XBT.
What artists have Tiny Vinyl records?
The brand’s record lineup at Target includes major artists including Olivia Rodrigo, BTS, Blink-182, Spice Girls, KPop Demon Hunters, Alanis Morissette, Ariana Grande, Gracie Abrams, Post Malone, Noah Kahan, Katseye, Kid Cudi, Kacey Musgraves, Zara Larsson, Hannah Montana, Wicked and more.
How much does the Tiny Vinyl Player cost?
The Tiny Vinyl Player retails for $49.99, the Tiny Vinyl Crate costs $19.99, and the Tiny Vinyl 2×2 Frame costs $14.99.
All three products are available to shop online at Target’s website and in-store on Thursday, July 16.

Tiny Vinyl says a large number of Target-exclusive releases are available through Target’s Tiny Vinyl page. The brand also notes that while some titles are Target exclusives, other Tiny Vinyl records may be sold through artist stores, live shows and select retail locations.
