But one of which — “get well soon” — is about her trauma following the horrific and deadly terror attack on her 2017 concert in Manchester, England.
The “thank you, next” musician drew the White House’s ire after resharing a post on Instagram from podcaster Matt Bernstein that pressed Trump voters to say whether their lives had actually improved since Trump’s return to power.
Bernstein’s post cited the tearing apart of immigrant families, growing hostility toward trans people and restrictions on free speech and pointedly asked if people’s groceries are now cheaper, health insurance premiums have gone down and more.
White House deputy press secretary Kush Desai issued a statement to Entertainment Weekly in response to Grande’s post.
“Save your tears, Ariana. Because President Trump’s actions ended Joe Biden’s inflation crisis and are bringing in trillions in new investment,” Desai claimed. “He even signed an executive order just like magic that paved the way for the FTC to crack down on Ticketmaster for ripping off Ariana Grande’s concert-going fans. Get well soon, Ariana!”
