The Utah Royals announced on Tuesday the signing of Club América’s forward Kiana Palacios through 2028 for an undisclosed fee.
The 29-year-old arrives in the NWSL after becoming Club América’s all-time top goalscorer, having tallied 90 goals in 174 league matches. Most of those goals were scored in the 2022-23 season when she found the back of the net 30 times in 40 games.

The Clausura 2023 champion also played in Europe with Real Sociedad before arriving at América, a club she helped to win the Copa de la Reina in the 2018-19 season. Her time there allowed her to play alongside Ana Tejada and Nuria Rábano, two of the Royals players.
