Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s engagement may seem like a fairy tale, but according to one expert, their magnetic connection has more to do with personal energy than fate.

With similar buzz surrounding the rumored romance between Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson, fans are turning to a new question: What makes these unlikely love stories possible — and can the same principles work for anyone?

Celebrity transformational leader, energy healer, and Law of Attraction expert Christy Whitman says yes — and it all comes down to energetic alignment.

“When you do the inner work to truly embrace who you are, you unlock the highest form of self-love — and through that love, your energy shifts,” says Whitman, bestselling author of “The Art of Having It All,” and her upcoming book, “The Flow Factor.”

“That shift naturally draws in something new, something better, than what you’ve experienced before,” she says.

Whitman has spent 25 years helping people attract the right relationships — including celebrities like actress Elisabeth Röhm — and she believes the stories of Taylor Swift and Pamela Anderson offer powerful examples of what happens when people align with their true selves. She says anyone can attract the right kind of partner by intentionally shifting their mindset and becoming more aware of what they’re really looking for in a relationship.

Her first tip is to begin with contrast. “Think about all the bad dates, and all of the qualities that you didn’t appreciate or like about them. Then ask yourself what’s the opposite?” Whitman says. “Contrast is a great start to manifesting what you want by knowing what you don’t want. It gives you clarity on what you do want.”

Next, she recommends writing out a list of the qualities you do want in a partner and going deeper by asking yourself why you want those qualities in your life. “What essence or feelings will you have when they are in your life — for example, connection, love, fun?” she says.

The key, she says, is to shift from longing to presence.

“Imagine that you already have those qualities,” she says. “Feel as if that person and their soul is already in your life. What would you do with them? What activities? Make space for them in your mind and your home and in your life.”

Finally, Whitman advises openness to unexpected opportunities — just like Swift and Kelce, who didn’t know each other before he went out on a limb and publicly announced his crush on the pop star on his “New Heights” podcast.

In her own appearance on the podcast this month, Swift admitted that being publicly called out that way made her unsure whether he was too over-the-top or being romantic, but after encouragement from some unspecified confidantes, she reached out to him. The pair also gave some of the matchmaking credit to Kansas City Chiefs Coach Andy Reid.

“They were fixed up and they were open to meeting each other,” she says. “Be open to doing things that you’ve never done before like being fixed up or going to a party or even online dating.”

Whether or not fans believe in energy alignment, Whitman says one thing is certain: love doesn’t just happen. It’s something people can invite in — and the right kind of connection often begins with the one we cultivate with ourselves.
