Here’s everything fans should know about the real singers of HUNTR/X, the group made famous by KPOP Demon Hunters.
Who is HUNTR/X?
Rei Ami, Ejae, and Audrey Nuna perform onstage on The Tonight Show Episode 1309.
The real-life voices behind KPOP Demon Hunters are EJAE (who voices Rumi), Audrey Nuna (Mira), and REI AMI (Zoey).
EJAE is a 33-year-old South Korean singer who has writing credits on many songs featured throughout KPOP Demon Hunters.
In an August 2025 Instagram carousel celebrating HUNTR’X’s song “Golden” climbing to the top of the Billboard Hot 100, EJAE spoke candidly about how she felt in the moment.
“My dream ever since I gave up being a kpop idol and chose to be a songwriter was to write a top hot 100 song in the US.. and getting #1 felt impossible,” EJAE wrote. “Thank you to everyone who made that possible. Thank you to everyone whos been showering so much love and support for the music and movie.”
“Golden” spent an impressive 8 weeks at the #1 spot, and it’s not the only HUNTR/X track to crack the Hot 100. “How It’s Done,” “What It Sounds Like,” and “Takedown” all climbed to at least the #21 position on the chart in 2025.

26-year-old Nuna enjoyed a successful career in music before of KPOP Demon Hunters, thanks to popular songs like 2021’s “Comic Sans,” featuring American rapper-singer Jack Harlow. In a 2025 interview with Variety, the South Korean star confessed that she never expected the movie’s popularity to reach the heights it has.
EJAE, REI AMI and Audrey Nuna of HUNTR/X from ‘KPop Demon Hunters’ speak onstage at the 2025 VMAs.
“I really did have a feeling that this project was going to do very well,” she revealed. “I didn’t know that it was just going to completely obliterate its own niche in the sense of just becoming so globally received.”

30-year-old REI AMI rounds out the group. The star has been an established name in the music industry since her 2020 collaboration with Sub Urban titled “Freak.”

Thank you omg i can’t stop crying,” she said in a caption.
Although the trio has made public appearances before (like at the 2025 MTV VMAs), their upcoming performance during the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will be in front of their largest audience to date.
