Christina Derevanjik became the biggest winner ever on Wheel of Fortune when she won a whopping $1,035,155 on Sept. 30 — and for four long months, she couldn’t spill her life-changing news to her boyfriend, per celebrity.land.
Christina nabbed the “Million Dollar” wedge and advanced to the bonus round. Then she solved the “Living Things” final puzzle “PACK OF COYOTES.” She collapsed as host Ryan Seacrest revealed she had indeed landed on the million-dollar envelope! Teary-eyed Ryan and longtime letter-turner Vanna White congratulated her as confetti rained down.

However, that episode was taped in May, and Christina was sworn to secrecy.
While she was holding a viewing party in Stamford, Conn., her unnamed beau, whom she had started dating just weeks before her taping, was watching in Boston, and he learned about her windfall with the rest of us.
“He had no idea,” says Christina, a marketing manager who will bank about $660,000 after taxes. “He called me and was just so excited. He is absolutely thrilled for me.”
