Following the energizing final messages comes the traditional handover ceremony, when Italy passes the Olympic flag to the next host region of the 2030 Winter Games, the French Alps. Finally, viewers all over the world will bid farewell to the 2025 Winter Games with the extinguishing of the Olympic flames.

Roberto Bolle
The first star announced as a headliner of the 2026 Winter Olympics Closing Ceremony was none other than the applauded international ballet dancer Roberto Bolle, who will spearhead a spell-binding performance centered around the night’s theme, “Beauty in Action.” A multi-generational talent, Bolle has been captivating audiences since the 1970s, touring with mythic companies like the Royal Ballet, the Paris Opera Ballet, and the Bolshoi, while also popularizing the art form through his variety series Roberto Bolle and Friends.
This isn’t the Italian dancer’s first twirl at the Olympic Games, either. During the kick-off of the 2006 Torino Winter Games, when the Opening Ceremony was held in Bolle’s hometown of Piedmont, he performed as a futuristic superhero while electrifying the night with his beloved energy.
Achille Lauro
Italian singer-songwriter Achille Lauro performed during the 2026 Winter Games Closing Ceremony, bringing his infectious charm and dynamite vocals to the Arena di Verona. First garnering fame as a rapper within Rome’s underground music scene and later skyrocketing to fame as one of Italy’s biggest pop stars, Lauro is a chameleonic performer who embraced many genres throughout the past decade, often delivering hits steeped in rap, electronic music, and punk rock. Lauro is expected to tear down the house during the Closing Ceremony in his hometown of Verona, adding yet another glimmering achievement to his mythic portfolio.

Gabry Ponte
Joining the 2026 Closing Ceremony’s mythic lineup is Italian DJ and producer Gabry Ponte, who got the crowd moving and grooving with an infectious set. While audiences all over the world know Ponte for founding the smash Eurodance group Eiffel 65 and their smash hit “Blue (Da Ba Dee),” he has also achieved massive solo success as an acclaimed DJ and producer. Some of Ponte’s most iconic collaborations include producing Pitbull’s hit “Beat on My Drum” as well as Tacabro’s “Tacata.” As for some of his latest projects, Ponte proudly represented San Marino in the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 with the infectious single “Tutta l’Italia.”
Benedetta Porcaroli
Italian actress Benedetta Porcaroli made an appearance during the Closing Ceremony, adding to the rich narrative of “Beauty in Action” with her magnetism and radiance. Best known for her role as Chiara in the Netflix series Baby and starring alongside Sydney Sweeney in the 2024 horror film Immaculate, she has also starred in hit Italian films like The Kidnapping of Arabella, Perfect Strangers, and Tutte le mie notti.
Major Lazer
American EDM and DJ group Major Lazer delivered a rousing performance the Closing Ceremony in Verona. Known for globally popular hits like “Lean On,” “Cold Water,” and “Light It Up,” Major Lazer currently features members Diplo, Walshy Fire, Ape Drums, and America Foster. “Closing ceremony, we’re gonna light it up,” the Grammy-nominated group announced on Instagram.
Gloria Campaner
World-renowned Italian pianist Gloria Campaner closed out the Closing Ceremony with a beautiful musical performance. Seated at a white grand piano, Campaner delivered goosebumps with her performance of Ludovico Einaudi’s “Experience.”
