Don’t expect to see Duchess Meghan and her flower sprinkles on your TV screen in the near future—With Love, Meghan will not be returning to Netflix for a third season.
Per a new report from Page Six, Meghan’s lifestyle program is “not returning as a series.” However, following the release of With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration on December 3, there is apparently still hope for more one-offs. “There have been conversations about [other] holiday specials,” a source told the outlet. “But there’s nothing in the works yet.” The Duchess of Sussex is allegedly floating the idea of Valentine’s Day and Fourth of July-themed specials.
Back in October, at Fortune’s Most Powerful Women Summit, Meghan hinted that her lifestyle series might be put on pause. When asked if fans could expect a third season, Meghan responded: “Well, the holiday special is coming out… It’s a really good one.”
She went on to note that the advice she shares in the show might be presented in different ways in the future. “I think looking at that format—again, it’s a year of learns—so we’re able to say, ‘Eight episodes for two seasons—it’s a lot of work,” she said. “And having done Suits for seven years, I remember what goes into a production.”
Notably, Meghan rejoined Instagram a little over a year ago, and has since become quite active on the social media platform, using it to promote not only her Netflix show, but also her lifestyle brand, As Ever. Now, it seems social may be where Meghan is directing her focus.
“I also recognize how much people want content in different sizes,” she noted at the Fortune summit. “Part of what we’re testing out now is, it’s amazing to sit and watch a show for 30 minutes, but how can I give you a recipe in two minutes? And where can I share that with you? And how that continues to grow, as ever.”
When With Love, Meghan premiered on Netflix in March 2025, it jumped into the global Top 10 list, garnering 12.6M hours viewed in its first week. It was followed by a second season in August that received softer numbers.
The show was originally part of Meghan and Prince Harry’s $100 million Netflix deal, which was signed in 2020. The contract resulted in five different projects, including the docuseries Harry & Meghan, which became the biggest Netflix debut ever for a documentary series upon its release.
Now, the Sussexes are working with an ongoing creative “first look” deal at Netflix, which they announced back in August. “We’re proud to extend our partnership with Netflix and expand our work together to include the As Ever brand,” Meghan said in a statement. “My husband and I feel inspired by our partners who work closely with us and our Archewell Productions team to create thoughtful content across genres that resonates globally, and celebrates our shared vision.”
For their first project under this new deal, the couple will produce an adaptation of Jasmine Guillory’s 2018 novel, The Wedding Date, which will be helmed by Girls Trip screenwriter Tracy Oliver.
