William Shatner was rushed to the hospital Wednesday after suffering a health scare at his home, according to TMZ.
The 94-year-old Star Trek legend experienced a sudden issue with his blood sugar levels late Wednesday afternoon while at his Los Angeles residence.
Emergency responders from the Los Angeles Fire Department arrived after Shatner called for help.
Medical personnel rushed him via ambulance to a local hospital, where he underwent evaluation.
Shatner is reportedly “doing good” and “resting comfortably,” a source revealed.
On a new episode of On The Red Carpet Icons, Shatner reflected on his career.
“Is there a ‘Star Trek’ moment that makes you especially happy that you were a part of over those years?” a reporter asked.
“Well, yes, the beauty of so many of the shows and the excellence of the writing and all those friends of mine who were three years in the making,” Shatner said. “It’s a very intimate thing doing a series.”
