Sowell’s North Pole

Monday Night Blues

7 p.m. Dec. 22. Seville Quarter, 130 E. Government St. Seville Quarter and the Blues Society of Northwest Florida are bringing the “blues” back to the Seville Quarter Entertainment District. A Drag Queen Christmas

7:30 p.m. Dec. 23. Saenger Theatre, 118 S. Palafox St. Get ready for your favorite queens performing live on stage. Performers include Lexi, Bosco, Shea Coulee, Jewels Sparkles, Crystal Methyd, Suzie Toot, Brooke Lynn Hytes and Lydia B. Kollins. Fans can expect a fabulous remix of classic Christmas hits, dazzling themed variety performances, and interactive moments to share your Christmas cheer for the most magical time of the year. Flora-Bama Christmas Potluck

9 a.m., arrival; 11 a.m., serving; Dec. 25. Flora-Bama Lounge & Package, 17401 Perdido Key Drive. The Flora-Bama wants attendees #OnTheLine to eat, drink and be merry for its traditional Christmas Potluck Dinner. The turkey and ham will be provided by the Flora-Bama, and patrons are encouraged to bring a covered dish to share and arrive anytime between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. as serving begins at 11 a.m. Live music will be playing all around the bar to help spread Christmas cheer for all to hear. Pensacola Winterfest

Various times Nov. 21 through Dec. 24. Based at the plazas around the Old County Courthouse at the corner of Palafox and Government streets in downtown Pensacola. Downtown comes alive with song and dance, arts and crafts during the holidays with Winterfest. Boukou Groove

Flora-Bama Make It To The Line Run/Walk

9 a.m. Dec. 27. Flora-Bama Lounge & Package, 17401 Perdido Key Drive. Let’s all ‘Make it to the Line’ just in time for the New Year. Run, jog, walk or crawl to the line during the Four-Mile Run/Walk and One-Mile Fun Run. The first 300 participants will receive run packets that include T-shirts and other goodies. Don’t forget to make plans to hang out and enjoy all of the post-race fun. Complimentary food and beverages are available to participants immediately following the race. Dinner Detective Murder Mystery Dinner Show

6 p.m. Dec. 27. Hilton Garden Inn Pensacola Downtown, 8 S. Ninth Ave. America’s largest interactive comedy murder mystery dinner theatre show is now playing. Solve a mystery while feasting on dinner. Just beware, the culprit is hiding in plain sight somewhere in the room, and you may find yourself as a prime suspect before you know it. This event differs from a traditional murder mystery dinner show. The actors are not dressed in costume and are hidden in the audience. Their unscripted shows are sure to bust attendees at the seams with over-the-top, anything-goes hilarity. Everything is created in the moment with audience suggestions, so each show is different. Kids Holiday Pajama Pawty!

10 a.m. Dec. 28. Coastal Cat Café, 1508 W. Garden St. Let your little ones celebrate the season in their cutest holiday PJs. This 45-minute festive experience includes cookie decorating, hot cocoa, and quality time with over 20 adoptable kitties. Kids can bring their favorite plushie for an extra cozy morning of holiday cheer. $40 for one adult and one child (ages 4 and above); $20 to add a second child.
