In Prime Video’s six-part series The Girlfriend, Robin Wright plays Laura, a chic, successful woman who seems to have it all: “a glittering career, a loving husband, and her precious son, Daniel,” according to the streamer. But her glamorous life takes a turn when Daniel introduces his parents to his new flame, Cherry (Olivia Cooke). After their first encounter, Laura becomes increasingly paranoid that there’s something suspicious going on with her son’s new girlfriend. What is she hiding? Can she be trusted?
