Emmy winners Hasan Minhaj and Ronny Chieng kick off their debate-style comedy tour, “Hasan Hates Ronny | Ronny Hates Hasan,” this fall. Many dates are already sold out; but select cities — including Chicago, Illinois — now offer two performances in one day.
Tickets to the additional time slots will soon be available on both HasanHatesRonny.com and Ticketmaster.
Comedians Hasan Minhaj and Ronny Chieng are arguing on stage. Per the tour website, the “Hasan Hates Ronny | Ronny Hates Hasan” trek stands for loathing, aggression, and a general lack of consideration. “During these divided times, many people believe that open dialogue and discourse are the only tools to mend a divided nation.” the description reads. Despite a public outcry for empathy, this duo stands firm in their belief that “hatred is the answer,” covering topics like race, war, recession, and more with vitriol.
Their comedic debate tour opens Friday, October 3 at the WaMu Theater in Seattle. Select dates — October 4 at The 5th Avenue Theatre, October 24 at Roy Thomson Hall, November 1 at the Orpheum Theatre, November 7 at the Auditorium Theatre Chicago, December 5 at the Beacon Theatre, December 12 and 13 at Jacobs Music Center, December 18 at San Jose Civic, December 19 and 20 at Masonic Auditorium, and December 26 at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre — include multiple performances.
Tickets to the additional shows go on sale Tuesday, August 12 at 10 a.m. local time Ticketmaster. Fans can also shop on Vivid Seats, SeatGeek, and StubHub.
