Former rapper Lil Tay recently made her debut on OnlyFans shortly after her 18th birthday in July, and now she’s no longer holding back her thoughts on women of a certain age working a regular 9 to 5 job.
“If you’re over the age of 25 and you’re still working a 9 to 5, you are a failure,” Tay, whose real name is Claire Hope, said in a video shared via Instagram on Sunday, August 17. “By then you should have already made your bag. And ladies, every single one of you should drop the link like me. Literally just make your bag. Who gives a f**k what anybody thinks?”
The former child internet star added that her family “kicked her out” and that she no longer speaks with them, but that didn’t stop her from joining OnlyFans. She also slammed the concept of getting a college education.
“F**k an education because Harvard was never gonna help me make eight figures,” Tay continued. “That’s why I dropped out of it and I dropped the link instead.”
Tay has been a controversial figure since she was young, and several people in the comments section pointed out that they believed she was “rage baiting” viewers for engagement.
“Y’all forgot Lil Tay was rage baiting since she was young,” one Instagram user wrote.

Tay first hinted at a project with OnlyFans a week before she turned 18 when she said in a July 22 Instagram video, “Every male has been counting down to it and literally telling me to ‘drop the link’ the second I turn 18. Girlies, what do you think? Should I do it?”
Three days after her birthday on July 29, Tay claimed that she made content for OnlyFans “one minute past midnight” after she hit the legal adult age. Since then, she has claimed that she made millions in just a few hours in an Instagram Reel.
