Over the past decade, Sean Evans has interviewed some of Hollywood’s biggest stars on his YouTube series Hot Ones — including his celebrity crush Keke Palmer.
Palmer has been a guest on the popular web series before, but on the Monday, Sept. 15 episode, the actress addressed a major elephant in the room.
“There’s one more thing I’d like to say, Sean,” Palmer said as show’s credits rolled. “I saw an interview where you said I was like your favorite guest, all this really sweet stuff…”
As Evans laughed and turned red, she continued, “I know we just had some wings, but I thought that… Maybe we could just have a quick smooch to see if there’s a spark.”
Evans immediately replied, “Let’s do it, let’s do it.”
In slow-motion, both Evans and Palmer got up from the table and embraced for the smooch. As the pair kissed, fireworks were digitally added into the background.
“The spark was sparking,” Palmer said as the pair giggled after the kiss.
“When I’m dying, and my life flashes before my eyes, I’ll have that snapshot.” Evans added.

On Reddit, fans were delighted to see Evans share the sweet moment with his celebrity crush.
“He seemed so giddy after that little peck lol I really hope this happens for real!” wrote one fan. “[I’m] convinced his whole career making this show was so this moment could happen.” said another.
“I actually ship this,” added a third.
Evans first revealed Palmer as his celebrity crush back in 2023 during a Hot Ones crossover episode with Chicken Shop Date host Amelia Dimoldenberg.
Dimoldenberg tried to guess which Hot Ones guest Evans had a crush on, only for him to admit the answer was Palmer.
“Very charming,” he said of the actress at the time. “Very charming woman.”
After learning of Evans’ feelings, Palmer told People in 2024 that she wasn’t surprised due to the “good chemistry” she felt between them during their previous interviews.
“I was living for it,” Palmer said “Not to say that I was surprised or I wasn’t surprised. But when I heard it and people were sending it to me, I was like, ‘I knew the vibes were vibing.'”
