What happened in last week’s episode of The Chicken Sisters?

In “Storm’s Brewin’, Y’all,” last week’s penultimate episode of The Chicken Sisters, a tornado touched down in Merinac, causing a lot of damage – not only to structures, but also to relationships. Nancy (Lea Thompson) was busy leading the way for the town of Merinac after the mayor went missing in fear. Amanda (Schuyler Fisk) comforted a nervous Sergio (Ektor Rivera) while trying to keep her complicated feelings at bay. Mae (Genevieve Angelson) leaned on Jay (Samer Salem) as she spent the eve of their wedding confronting the long-lasting effects of being a Mimi’s girl.  Meanwhile, Gus (Wendie Malick) was forced to rely on the very last person she’d ever ask for help – Frank, Jr (James Kot).

What happens in this week’s episode of The Chicken Sisters?

In, “I Do, Y’all,” the Season 2 finale of The Chicken Sisters, through the aftermath of the storm, the folks in Merinac remember they’re stronger when leaning on each other – just as Gus, Nancy, Mae, and Amanda have learned.

Mae and Jay’s wedding day is almost here, but there’s a small hitch in their giddy up in their nuptial site was destroyed during the tornado. With Sabrina (Rukiya Bernard) leading the charge, everyone works together to make sure Merinac’s little chick Mae has the special day she deserves.

Meanwhile, Gus may be tougher than beef jerky, but the loss of Mimi’s means she needs her Chicken Sisters more than ever. Amanda and Frankie (Cassandra Sawtell) embrace new opportunities to spread their wings, but will they get clipped before they can soar high?
