Tribute band Blank Space brings Taylor Swift’s biggest hits to life in a high-energy concert at Sanford Performing Arts Center, Sunday, Nov. 22 at 7 p.m.

SANFORD, Maine — Want to feel alive this winter? Come out and catch a show at the Sanford Performing Arts Center.

Opening its sixth year on stage, Sanford Performing Arts Center’s Partners Bank Spotlight Series brings a variety of outstanding touring shows from Maine and around the world! Their season runs from October through July, providing entertainment for the community through Maine’s colder months.

“We’re going to make you feel alive this season!” said SPAC Director Brett Williams. “That’s what a good performance can do to an audience. I want folks to experience something new and fresh here, something they may have never seen before in Sanford. We also offer super-low ticket prices and tons of free parking, making our shows worth getting out of the house this season!”

Catapult: Magic Shadows: Shadow dance, storytelling and illusion in a family-friendly performance. 7 p.m. at Sanford Performing Arts Center. $35-$54.

A Victorian Nutcracker (Portland Ballet): Ballet performance blending Tchaikovsky’s score and historic mansion artistry. Two shows: 2 p.m. and 7 at Sanford Performing Arts Center. $35-$55.

Wednesday, Dec. 31

Chris Funk: Redefining Wonder: Illusionist show with multimedia elements to ring in the New Year. $29-$52.

Saturday, Jan. 17

Funny Women of a Certain Age: A comedy showcase with veteran female comedians. $30-$46.

Forbidden Broadway: Satirical revue parodying Broadway shows and stars. $31-$54.

Saturday, Feb. 7

MOMIX: Alice: A dance interpretation of “Alice in Wonderland” with inventive choreography and visual spectacle. $35-$76.

Sunday, Feb. 8

Ilya Yakushev, Piano: Classical recital including works like “Rhapsody in Blue” and “Pictures at an Exhibition.” 3 p.m. at Sanford Performing Arts Center. $20-$35.

Saturday, Feb. 28

Piano Men: The Music of Billy Joel: Led by Joe Boucher, a tribute featuring rock band and string quartet. 7 p.m. at Sanford Performing Arts Center.

Thursday, March 5

U.S. Navy Sea Chanters: Official chorus performance with patriotic, classical and popular pieces. 7 p.m. at Sanford Performing Arts Center. Free with prior reservation.

Sunday, April 12

Beo String Quartet: Classical and contemporary works by this adventurous ensemble. 3 p.m. at Sanford Performing Arts Center. $23-$42.

Friday, April 17

The Second City: Comedy sketches and improv from a legendary troupe. 7 p.m. at Sanford Performing Arts Center. $35-$55.

Sunday, May 3

Pandemonium Strings: The Painchaud family’s blend of music and acrobatics. 3 p.m. at Sanford Performing Arts Center. $29-$49.

Thursday, July 2

“Celebrate America” with Casco Bay Wind Symphony: Patriotic concert with anthems, marches and community spirit. $10-$18.

Online ticketing is available 24/7 at www.SanfordPAC.org. The box office is open for in-person and phone ticket sales Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to noon, and one hour before every performance. Call (207) 206-1126 or stop by for personal assistance.

Opened in 2019, Sanford Performing Arts Center is located on the campus of Sanford High School at 100 Alumni Boulevard in Sanford, Maine. SPAC features 17 shows in its Partners Bank Spotlight Series, plus two school plays; SPAC also hosts many community productions and benefit shows.
