A superstar couple has broken up after 19 years of marriage, according to multiple reports.
Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban separated and have been living apart “since the beginning of summer,” sources told TMZ. People and E! News confirmed the breakup, noting that the split appears to be one-sided.
“Nicole did not want to part ways with Keith and has been trying to save the marriage,” insiders told E! News.
Urban moved out of their family home in Nashville and has acquired his own residence in the Tennessee city, TMZ reported. It’s unclear if the former couple is headed for divorce, but Urban appeared irked in July when an interviewer asked a personal question about Kidman and her recent co-star, Zac Efron.
Urban and Kidman married in 2006 and have two daughters, ages 14 and 17.
The pair has not commented publicly on their relationship. Their most recent public appearances together include the Academy of Country Music Awards in May and a FIFA Club World Cup match in June.

E! reports Kidman, who also has two adult children with ex-husband Tom Cruise, recently applied to become a resident in Portugal. She did not include Urban’s name on the application, but a source told the publication that it was due to scheduling conflicts as Urban has been on tour.
Urban, 57, is a Grammy-winning country singer known for hits like “Somebody Like You,” “Blue Ain’t Your Color,” “Long Hot Summer,” “Days Go By” and “You’ll Think of Me.” He also appeared as a coach on “The Voice” and a judge on “American Idol.”
Kidman, 58, is an Oscar-winning actress known for movies and TV shows like “Days of Thunder,” “Batman Forever,” “Big Little Lies,” “Paddington,” “Bewitched,” “Being the Ricardos,” “Moulin Rouge!” and “The Hours.” She recently wrapped filming a sequel to “Practical Magic” with Sandra Bullock.
