Hollywood veteran William Daniels, who is beloved for his role as Mr.Feeney on the 1990s show Boy Meets World, made a small cameo on Tuesday’s episode of Dancing With The Stars.
William, 98, showed up for Season 34 Dancing With The Stars contestant Danielle Fishel as his former co-star honored him for the Dedication Night episode aired on October 14. During the Dedication Night show, Danielle, best known for her role as Topanga on Dancing With the Stars, performed the jive with her pro dance partner Pasha Pashkov.
Amid the performance, William was welcomed to the ballroom to floor to watch Pasha and Danielle do their dance to Boy Meets World theme song as a part of the contestant couple’s act following DWTS being hit with a new controversy.
“He’s just somebody I have looked up to as a man, as an actor, as a professional,” Danielle said during the confessional portion aired before her dance, remembering how “intimidating” it was to step onto the Boy Meets World when she was young.
Danielle continued: “But Bill, who had already won two Emmys, treated me like I deserve all the respect in the world as a fellow actor. I don’t think I would have been the professional that I am today without having watched him all those years.”
Despite many raving over Dedication Night, some raged over an audio glitch that happened in the episode.
One complained about the audio issue on Reddit, writing, “Why is the crowd so loud? Turn up the mics please.”
Another fan raged, “What is going on with the audio???” as a third said, “The canned crowd noise is way too loud tonight.”
Yet another complained, “is the audio trippy for anyone else.”
