KYM Marsh will star in a new stage production of Single White Female, based on the 90s film thriller, at the Bradford Alhambra Theatre.
The play, running from May 12-16, 2026, stars actor and singer Kym, whose TV work includes Coronation Street and Waterloo Road, as Allie, a recently divorced mum, balancing being a single parent with the launch of her tech start-up. When she decides to advertise for a lodger to help make ends meet, the delightful Hedy offers her a lifeline. But as their lives interwine, boundaries blur and a seemingly perfect arrangement begins to unravel…
Written by author, journalist and broadcaster Rebecca Reid, the play is a bold and modern re-imagining of the hit 1992 film starring Bridget Fonda and Jennifer Jason Leigh, and the bestselling book by John Lutz.
Full of dark humour and sharp and suspenseful storytelling, the play updates the story to the age of social media and all that it brings, in a gripping tale of ambition, obsession and the desperate need for belonging in an isolated world.
