New Braunfels has a variety of different venues for live music, from the German-inspired Krause’s Cafe to the traditional Brauntex Performing Arts Theater and the laid back Redbird Listening Room.

Artists include local singer-songwriters like Gus Miller and rock bands such as the Bucksnort Boogie Boys.

The Merles are set to perform at Krause’s Cafe on Feb. 20. This Austin-based country band specializes in traditional Americana music, inspired by honky-tonk legends like George Strait and Hank Williams.
