Bay Area thrash metal veterans Heathen have entered a new chapter, inking a deal with Napalm Records. With a new album currently in the works, the San Francisco outfit have kicked off the partnership by revisiting material from their extended musical lineage.
Leading the charge is a re-recording of “Never A God,” the title track from the first demo by Laughing Dead, the early ’90s band fronted by Heathen vocalist David White. The deep cut has now been reimagined in Heathen’s modern thrash style as a nod to the band’s roots.
The band shared the following:
We’re very proud to announce that HEATHEN has officially signed with Napalm Records! Joining forces with a team who shares our vision, our drive, and our passion for metal music. This marks the beginning of a new chapter for the band. We’re fired up for what’s coming and can’t wait to complete work on the new HEATHEN album!
