Sphere Entertainment Co. to Host Second Quarter 2026 Conference Call

By The Associated Press

NEW YORK, NY, April 14, 2026 (EZ Newswire) — Lucra, the leading social competition platform, today announced a partnership with Great Linqx, the golf entertainment and mixed-use development company building destination sports experiences in underserved American markets. Through Lucra’s white-label mobile SDK, Great Linqx will power real-money and free-to-play tournaments, peer-to-peer challenges, and rewards-based competitions directly within a dedicated Great Linqx mobile app, launching alongside the company’s first location in 2027.

Great Linqx is developing a category that goes beyond traditional golf entertainment. Each complex pairs immersive sports and entertainment venues with mixed-use real estate development, creating living, dining, and community infrastructure around the athletic experience. With multi-sport simulators spanning over 10 sports and more than 30 gaming activities, full-service restaurants and bars, and stadium-style watch party environments, Great Linqx is designed to become the social and recreational center of gravity for every market it enters.

Great Linqx is targeting metros between 150,000 and 700,000 people, markets with strong population growth, university anchors, and consistent event-driven traffic, but where destination sports entertainment has never had a serious presence. The first location will be home to one of the most passionate sports cultures in the country and a market with virtually no competition in this category, and is the first proving ground. A 15-location, five-year national rollout follows from there.

By embedding Lucra natively into the Great Linqx mobile app, guests can enter cash-enabled tournaments and skill-based challenges directly from their phones, track standings on live leaderboards mid-session, and convert winnings to credits for bay time, food and beverage, simulator play, and more. The result is a closed-loop loyalty system designed to deepen community engagement, drive repeat visits, and increase spend per session across every revenue stream in the venue.

“Great Linqx is building something we have not seen before in this space,” said Dylan Robbins, CEO of Lucra. “This is not just a golf venue. It is a community destination with sports entertainment at its core, and it is going into markets that have been waiting for exactly this kind of experience. When you layer real-money competition and a loyalty engine on top of that from day one, every visit becomes more meaningful. Guests are not just hitting balls or playing simulators. They are competing for something, and that changes everything about how they engage with the venue and with each other.”

“Most operators think about technology after they have figured out everything else. We made the decision to build competition and loyalty into Great Linqx before we broke ground on our first location, because we believe it is fundamental to what makes this concept work,” said Mike Kuntz, CEO of Great Linqx. “People come for the experience, but they come back because something is at stake. Lucra gives us the infrastructure to deliver that from day one, at every location we open.”

The integration will launch alongside Great Linqx’s first location in 2027. As the company expands across mid-size markets nationwide, Lucra’s competition infrastructure will scale with it, giving every new location a built-in engagement and loyalty engine from opening day. For Lucra, the partnership represents something it has been building toward across golf, fitness, and location-based entertainment: a world where competitive play is not a feature venues add on, but the foundation they build on.

Lucra is a plug-and-play SDK that integrates into apps or websites, enabling peer-to-peer competitions with real-money or rewards. It handles compliance, payments, fraud prevention, and settlement out of the box, so partners can instantly offer gamified experiences without building or managing complex infrastructure themselves. Top entertainment, hospitality, and consumer brands, including Five Iron Golf, Puttshack, Backyard Sports, ChessKings, TouchTunes, and more, use Lucra’s white-label technology to power tournaments and challenges, build loyalty, and drive new revenue.
