Two globally recognized reality TV stars are preparing to step onto the dance floor for the next installment of Dancing with the Stars.
ABC and Disney confirmed Tuesday that Ciara Miller of Bravo’s Summer House and Irish model Maura Higgins, known for The Traitors and Love Island, will compete when the show’s 35th season debuts this fall.
The announcement was made at Hulu‘s Get Real House event. Higgins, who first rose to fame on Love Island UK in 2019, became a recognizable face across America after appearing on Peacock’s The Traitors.
Competing as a Faithful during the show’s fourth season, she forged a close alliance with Love Island USA alum Rob Rausch — a strategy that propelled her to the finale, until the shocking revelation that Rausch had been a Traitor all along, ending her run without the prize.
Miller arrives with her own dedicated following, reports the Mirror US.
The 30-year-old has been a mainstay on Bravo’s Summer House for five seasons and returns as the series navigates one of its most dramatic storylines to date.
As the 10th season plays out, viewers have witnessed the fallout following the revelation that Miller’s close friend and castmate Amanda Batula entered into a romantic relationship with Miller’s ex-boyfriend, West Wilson.
The couple went public with their relationship, sending shockwaves throughout the Bravo community.
The drama is far from resolved. Batula has indicated she is ready to confront the situation head-on at the upcoming season reunion. “Be addressing any and all questions honestly and directly,” Batula said of her plans for the sit-down.
Season 34 drew the program’s largest viewership in years, driven in part by a wave of interest from younger audiences.
The November finale ranked as the highest-rated in nearly a decade for the franchise, highlighting renewed enthusiasm for the format as it heads into its milestone 35th season.
