Amora Robinson shook things up as a Casa Amor Bombshell on Love Island USA, and she’s dropping another kind of bombshell after her time on the fan favorite reality series. She hopped on a TikTok livestream on Friday, July 17, where she openly discussed her sexual orientation and how it played into her strategy in the Villa.
“Do I date girls? Guys, I am bi, it was never a secret,” she clarified, before addressing a bizarre rumor that she pretended to be straight to appear on the show.
She continued, “Wait, I have to clear this up. I did not infiltrate the Villa as a lesbian. I’m bi, y’all, and I actually said it multiple times on the show, like, it was just never aired. Literally.”
Though Amora’s confession was seemingly edited out of the season, she’s not the first LGBTQ+ contestant to make her way to the Villa. Back in 2023, Johnnie Garcia came out as bi when she confessed her feelings to another female islander, Kassy Castillo. Though she had never been with a woman, they gave it a shot and ended up sharing a smooch in Soul Ties (IYKYK).
They never ended up choosing each other during a recoupling, but still, Kassy and Johnnie made history on Love Island USA. On the other side of the pond, Martha Rothwell, is an openly bisexual Casa Amor Bombshell who chose to “marry” another girl during a challenge.
Elsewhere during the TikTok Live, Amora claimed that she talked to other guys and pursued connections aside from Sincere Rhea at Casa Amor, though they “didn’t show that” on the show.
“We all went through a crazy social experiment at the end of the day, and my experience is my own,” she said, in part. “Everyone else’s experience is their own, and that’s how I chose to showcase my experience to you all.”
