Ever since it was confirmed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle traveled to the UK with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, people have been hoping for a glimpse. We know they met with King Charles and Queen Camilla, but since that meeting was private, nothing has been reported. Now, however, Markle has taken matters into her own hands.
Markle posted a photo on Instagram of what looks to be her children and Harry on the grounds of Althorp House. Speculation is that the photo was taken as the family was on their way to visit the final resting place of Princess Diana, who is buried on a secluded island in Round Oval Lake.

The photo was part of a carousel that Markle shared, with the caption “Summer Holiday,” and included other pictures of the family on vacation, including some at the beach.
All of this comes after speculation that the couple was planning to bring a film crew to England to capture family moments for a 2027 documentary marking the 30th anniversary of Princess Diana’s death. There’s been no confirmation of this, but just the suggestion is enough for people online, as always.
“Wow. How disrespectful, exploitative, and gross. What should really be a very private and personal family moment she posts on her public influencer platform for the world to see. She wanted you to know she was at Diana’s grave,” one person said.
“I recognized the location, and then I saw the flowers. This is beyond disgusting, photos like this should be private. She knew what she was doing by posting this,” a second comment added.
Some, however, celebrated the visit. One person responded, “Princess Diana’s grandchildren at their family seat. 700 years of Spencer heritage and British history. Told yah they stayed in Althorp. Keep crying haters. Archie and LiliDiana at their family’s arms, The Spencer family.”
RadarOnline reported that Harry reportedly filmed the “deeply private family visit” as part of a documentary, with sources saying there was “recording equipment” at the site.
“There was a clear awareness that elements of the visit could be captured for a future project like a Netflix documentary from Harry, or social media posts, which has unsettled members of the family,” one source said.
An insider familiar with the plans added, “The intention could well be to include deeply personal material in a documentary tied to the anniversary next year.”
Prince William is reportedly very upset by these reports, with the National Examiner reporting that William is furious about Harry and Meghan’s reported desire to collaborate with Netflix on a documentary.
“As everyone knows he hates Netflix with a passion, just like all the royals do back in England because of The Crown and the way they were portrayed on the show,” a source explained. “It sickens William that his own brother would work with them at all, let alone on something related to their beloved mother.”
“[Harry] knows exactly how his brother feels about Netflix, so the fact that he’s going ahead with this is such a slap in the face,” the insider added. “It’s like nothing is sacred with him when it comes to the almighty American dollar. … If there was even a sliver of hope for reconciliation after these peace talks, this has just totally blown that.”
