John Krasinski is known around the world for playing Jim Halpert in The Office, but he’s quietly become one of the most formidable directors in Hollywood. All the way back in 2018, he directed the first Quiet Place, which co-starred his wife Emily Blunt along with Millicent Simmons and Noah Jupe as their children in the film, Regan and Marcus Abbott. Only two years later, Krasinski directed a second Quiet Place movie, which returned almost everyone from the original film while also adding Oscar-winning star Cillian Murphy to its cast. The Quiet Place franchise turned back the clock in 2024 with a prequel story, A Quiet Place: Day One, starring Joseph Quinn and Lupita Nyong’o.
