
A$AP Rocky lights up ‘SNL’ with new music from ‘Don’t Be Dumb’fi
A$AP Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, made a standout appearance on Saturday Night Live, delivering the first live performance from his latest album, Don’t be Dumb.
On January 17, the 37-year-old rapper appeared as the musical guest on SNL, delighting fans with the debut live showcase of his new project.
Rocky later took to his Instagram Stories to share a clip from the performance, which opened with host Finn Wolfhard introducing him on stage.
After being introduced with, “Ladies and gentlemen, A$AP Rocky,” the rapper stepped onto the stage and launched straight into performances of his new tracks.
He kicked off the set with Punk Rocky, the lead single released last week alongside a music video featuring Winona Ryder, Danny Elfman, Thundercat, and A$AP Nast.
Rocky then wrapped the segment with a mashup medley of Helicopter and Don’t Be Dumb.
Don’t Be Dumb is the musician’s fourth studio album and was released on January 16, marking his first full-length project in nearly eight years.
On the personal front, A$AP Rocky welcomed his third child, a daughter, Rocki Irish Mayers, with Rihanna in September 2025.
