8 Great Tuesdays: Erie All Stars band kicks off 2025 series in Erie PA

The Erie All Stars band included more than a dozen members and a cameo of Fairview students on the opening night of 8 Great Tuesdays at Rebich Investments Amphitheater on July 8, 2025.

You can hear music, see art, watch drama, laugh at comedy and much more in the Erie region.

“Among the Trees: Art Inspired by Nature”: Aug. 1, 7-8:30 p.m., ticketed cocktail reception, and Aug. 2, outdoor exhibition, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery, 2601 Norcross Road, Harborcreek Township. Friday night reception with artists and refreshments, Saturday art show with works by local and regional artists whose pieces are inspired by the natural beauty of the region. $15 for reception, free for show.

“Much Ado About Nothing”: Aug. 8 and 9, 6 p.m., and Aug. 10, 2 p.m., Goodell Gardens & Homestead, 221 Waterford St., Edinboro. Meadville Community Theatre production. $20 for Goodell members, $30 for non-members, plus fees.

Second Sunday: Aug. 10, 2-4 p.m., Erie Art Museum, 20 E. Fifth St. Drop-in art making for families. Pay-what-you-wish admission.

Playdate Playlist: Aug. 13, 1-2 p.m., Experience Children’s Museum, 420 French St. Family-friendly concert by Attention Switch. Included with museum admission of $12 for ages 1-61, $10 for ages 62 and older, free for members, discounts available.

“Keep on Laughing”: Aug. 16, 23 and 30 and Sept. 6, 5:30 p.m., and Aug. 17, 24 and 31 and Sept. 7, 2:30 p.m., Station Dinner Theatre, 4940 Peach St. $51 for adults, $45 for ages 65-plus, youth and military, $31 for ages 6-11 plus fees.

“Murder on the Rocks”: Aug. 20, 21, 27 and 28, 6:30 p.m., Room 33, 1033 State St. Murder mystery dinner from Penny & Pearl Productions. $65 plus fees.

Josh Wolf: Aug. 22, 7:30 p.m., and Aug. 23, 6:30 and 9:30 p.m., Kellar’s: A Modern Magic & Comedy Club, 1402 State St. $30.

Country Music Weekend: Aug. 22, starting at 5 p.m.; Aug. 23, starting at 8 a.m.; and Aug. 24, starting at 8 a.m., Peek’n Peak Resort, 1405 Olde Road, Clymer, N.Y. Features food, music, drinks, bonfire, pool party, more. Prices vary by activity.

August Movie Night: Aug. 23, 7 p.m., The Little Church on the Hill, 10410 High St., Albion. Outdoor screening of “Finding Dory”; moves indoors in case of inclement weather. Free; donations accepted.
