Two-time Tony Award nominee and Grammy Award nominee Jeremy Jordan will star as Bobby Darin in the record-breaking, award-winning and Grammy Award-nominated smash hit musical Just In Time beginning April 21, 2026, at Circle in the Square Theatre (235 West 50th Street). Jordan takes over for Tony-winner Jonathan Groff. “I’m absolutely thrilled to welcome Jeremy Jordan to Just In Time —his talent, charisma, and emotional fearlessness make him the perfect artist to step into the role of Bobby Darin,” said director Alex Timbers, “We’re excited to tailor the show to Jeremy’s many gifts and make a version of the show unique to him. On TV, he has starred as a series regular in “Supergirl,” “Smash,” “Hazbin Hotel,” and “Tangled.” He’s best-known on Broadway for his Tony and Grammy-nominated portrayal of Jack Kelly in Newsies. Claybourne Elder celebrates the release of his debut album, If the Stars Were Mine, with a series of album release concerts that bring his acclaimed live show to 54 Below. Elder moves fluidly between songs and stories—pairing classic material from the Great American Songbook and Sondheim with unexpected pop moments and deeply personal reflections. Elder is a Grammy, Screen Actors Guild, Drama Desk, and Lucille Lortel nominee. Drama League Awards to honor David Cromer, Scott Ellis, Kamilah Forbes and Caissie Levy. Nominees for the 2025-2026 season will be announced on April 20 at 11 a.m. at Lincoln Center’s New York Public Library for the Performing Arts. The Drama League Awards ceremony will take place on May 15 at 11 a.m. at the Ziegfeld Ballroom. Frank DiLella, Emmy-winning host of Spectrum News NY1’s “On Stage,” will serve as host.
The new Richard Maltby Jr and David Shire musical revue About Time will premiere Off-Broadway at the Marjorie S. Deane Little Theater starting February 27. Opening night is on March 15th, for a five-week run. Directed by Richard Maltby Jr. the show stars Allyson Kaye Daniel, Darius de Haas, Daniel Jenkins, Eddie Korbich, Sally Wilfert, and Lynne Wintersteller. About Time completes a trilogy that the authors didn’t know they were writing which started with Starting Here, Starting Now. More than a decade later, Closer Than Ever and now, About Time will complete the picture of a life story. The production features choreography and musical staging by Marcia Milgrom Dodge, music direction by Deniz Cordell, scenic design by James Morgan, costume design by Tracy Christensen, and lighting design by Mitchell Fenton. About Time premiered at Goodspeed in May and June of 2025.
